Megan Thee Stallion has created an online platform which provides her fans with a catalogue of mental health resources.
The platform, which is called Bad Bitches Have Bad Days Too, collates contact information for a wide range of mental health hotlines.
It also lists groups of mental health organisations that work specifically with Black and LBGTQ+ communities.
In a statement posted to Twitter, the rapper, 27, said: ‘Hotties! You know how much mental wellness means to me, so I created a hub.’
She added that ‘[it contains] resources that can help when you might need a hand,’ before going on to leave a link to the new website.
She finished her statement by declaring her love for any of her fans who might be out there struggling, encouraging them to seek help if they need it.
Megan’s social media followers were quick to praise her, with one saying: ‘I love that you care about people’s mental health and wellness.’
Another said: ‘I actually signed up for a 15-minute consultation with a therapist just from seeing that resource on her text list.’
The website is decorated with images of Megan, as well as music videos for songs the rapper has written in relation to mental health.
It contains links to free therapy organisations, mental health hotlines, resource telephone directories, and LGBTQ+ community resources.
At the very bottom of the list, a quote that reads ‘Some days I just hate everybody’ sits above a link where visitors to the site can find a therapist.
The website arrives shortly after the release of Megan’s latest album, Traumazine, which covers the rapper’s experiences with overcoming personal difficulties.
Speaking to Apple Music, she said: ‘I don’t write songs about how I feel, I write songs about how I want to feel.’
‘On this album, it’s probably the first time I figured out how to talk about what I want to say and express myself a little bit more.’
She continued: ‘I wanted to just take control of my narrative, take control of my own story. Tell it my way, tell it from me.’
Megan has had a busy time of late, as she recently won over fans of the MCU after her surprise cameo appearance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Is there anything she can’t do?
