Meghan Markle’s Spotify podcast Archetypes will be returning after she decided to put the episodes on pause following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
After Her Majesty’s death on September 8, the Duchess of Sussex delayed the upcoming episodes during the official ‘mourning period’ for the late monarch,’ according to the streaming service.
The next episode will drop on Tuesday, October 4, and will feature actress and comedian Margaret Cho in a conversation about Asian American tropes in the entertainment industry.
Meghan launched her brand new podcast series on streaming giant Spotify in August and has featured interviews with Mariah Carey, and Mindy Kaling so far.
The 41-year-old has released three episodes of Archetypes since August 23 with conversations including the double standards women face when they are labelled ‘ambitious’, racial identity and life as a single woman and the stigma around it.
It’s not yet known if Meghan and her husband Prince Harry have flown back to the States after spending nearly three weeks in the UK.
The Queen died at her Balmoral home aged 96 and Harry jetted over to the Scotland estate to be with the rest of the Royal family, with Meghan staying behind in London.
The couple then made an appearance together in Windsor alongside Prince William and Catherine, the Princess of Wales to thank mourners for their condolences, before attending the Queen’s state funeral on Monday, September 19.
Former Suits actress Meghan sat down with tennis legend Serena Williams for the first episode of Archetypes.
