Mel C couldn't contain her laughter as her brother made a playful dig at her former bandmate Victoria Beckham on Wednesday night's instalment of The One Show.
The Spice Girl, 47, was joined by her sibling Paul O'Neill as they discussed their upcoming debut on Celebrity Gogglebox before the talk turned to the Beckhams.
The show's hosts asked Paul about the time he "saved" footballer David, to which he cheekily replied: "Yeah, I saved him from his wife."
The whole studio collapsed into a fit of giggles, with Mel particularly unable to catch her breath because of how hard she laughed.
Paul clarified his comment, stating: "No, I'm joking – would she watch this?" to which the hosts joked they would send the clip to Victoria.
He went on to reveal that David "latched on" to his friend group while the Spice Girls were on tour.
"He thought my mate Rich was hilarious as he's a proper lad, so we saw quite a lot of him on that tour situation," he explained.
He added: "Then I saw him on a job a few years later, and I didn't get to see him because you get busy, so I'm trying to get my guest in and I see David walking over, and I was like, 'he's recognised me'.
"He's like, 'Alright Paul, how's it going?', the nicest guy, he said, 'Come on, let's get a selfie and send it to your Mel', and I was like, 'I ain't got no time!'"
Paul then joked he "pied off David Beckham!" with his sister bursting out into laughter again.
As well as Mel C, the likes of DJ Clara Amfo, sports presenter Clare Balding and Lorraine Kelly have signed up for Celebrity Gogglebox.
Although this is the official celebrity series, some of the featured TV watchers from the main series have become stars in their own right since appearing on the show – such as Scarlett Moffatt.
Mel and her brother Paul will appear on Celebrity Gogglebox on Friday at 9 pm on Channel 4.
