Missing X Factor star Levi Davis update as private eye reveals ‘significant leads’

Levi Davis has been missing for over six weeks now, but there's been some significant movement inside private company Line of Inquiry's investigation.

The 24 year old X Factor: Celebrity singer (he was part of the boyband Try Star) was last spotted on his own in Barcelona's The Old Irish Pub, and there's now a £10,000 reward in the mix for anyone who can provide information leading to his discovery.

Updating the nation via GB News, private eye Gavin Burrows shared: “I've only recently just come to this, but we have got some significant leads, which we're following up right now and locally.

"There are a number of clues here. And one main appeal today is that when he left Ibiza in October, he must have spoken to somebody on the ferry during that time.

"It was a six, seven-hour, eight-hour journey. He must have spoken to somebody when he came to Barcelona or arranged to meet somebody in Barcelona. But that person's never come forward," he further explained.

Levi's concerned nearest and dearest travelled out to Spain to help with the search a number of weeks ago, but none of the reported sightings were confirmed to be him.

His mum Julie Davis posted her own update on Facebook over the weekend, writing to her followers: "Thank you all for your support and prayers. There's still no news apart from the fact his passport was found near some cargo shipment."

Following her rugby player son's disappearance, Julie has been informed that neither his phone or bank accounts have been in operation since the last sighting.

At the time of his passport being found, Julie admitted to the MailOnline that she's growing increasingly scared for Levi's welfare.

"This is a very worrying development because you cannot do anything in Barcelona without a passport. Besides travel, you cannot book into a hotel or even rent somewhere without one," she commented.

"We know that his phone and two bank accounts have been untouched since he disappeared and so this is another blow. There have been a few sightings of someone looking like Levi near La Boqueria Market and the Arc de Triomf monument over the last week but sadly we are not sure it's him."

As well as 2019's star-studded version of The X Factor, Levi joined the cast of Celebs Go Dating a year later alongside the likes of Love Island's Shaughna Phillips, Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry and TOWIE favourite Pete Wicks.

That same year he also came out as bisexual in a WhatsApp message to his sporting teammates, later thanking them for their support.
