Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury fail to raise smiles as they step out with Maura Higgins

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury cast a sombre figure as they were spotted stepping out with fellow Love Island star Maura Higgins.

It was the first time 22 year old boxer Tommy had been seen since he pulled out of his match with Jake Paul in the US.

The pair were due to fight on Saturday, December 18, in what was shaping up to be a truly exhilarating ride for fans in America, but sadly Tommy had to withdraw earlier this month after coming down with a bacterial chest infection.

The star, who is younger brother to champion boxer Tyson Fury, 33, also suffered from a broken rib.

Tommy, Molly-Mae, 22, and Maura, 31, kept their heads down as they crossed the road in Cheshire, failing to give a smile at any point.

Molly-Mae looked ready for a workout as she opted to wear a pair of grey leggings, white trainers, and an oversized sports jacket.

Underneath, she also wore a white hoody and shielded her identity with a pair of black sunglasses.

The Pretty Little Thing creative director brought along her quilted Chanel bag for the trip, holding her phone and car keys in her hand.

Meanwhile Tommy chose to wear a matching grey tracksuit top and bottoms along with black Nike trainers, pulling his hood up.

Irish presenter and brand ambassador Maura opted to make more of a fashion statement in a black PVC jacket lined with a teddy-style fabric, which she teamed with a pair of black leggings and matching trainers to best pal Molly-Mae.

Maura chose a natural yet flawless makeup look and swept her brunette tresses up into a sleek bun, while Molly appeared makeup-free as she focused on heading towards the car.

It comes as Molly-Mae recently opened up on her lack of a social life, revealing she keeps her circle very small and only has about "five friends", with Maura being one of those.

Instead, the star admitted she'd rather focus on "making money" instead of a social life, and she doesn't really drink alcohol or enjoy going "out out".

Speaking on the Diary of a CEO podcast, Molly-Mae shared: “My circle is minuscule. I have literally about five people in my circle, and that includes friends.

"I work, I spend time with my boyfriend and I go to bed,” she went on. "That is literally my life.

“I’m not bothered about a social life. It’s never been something I’ve been interested in," the social media influencer added.
