TV star Montana Brown penned an inspiring Instagram post to reflect on her post partum body after giving birth to her son Jude six weeks.
The 27-year-old appeared on season three of Love Island and said in the post on Monday, 7 August, that she is 'so proud' and 'in awe' of what her body has achieved as she revealed she is trying not to focus on 'getting back into shape'.
Montana, who shares Jude with her fiancé Mark O'Connor, said that it's difficult not to think about what her body once looked like, but everything is has done to bring her son into the world including 'pain and burning' has been 'worth it."
In the Instagram post, she wrote: "I am so proud of my body. Preggo, an hour after birth, a day after birth, the best gift in the world.
"It’s very hard to not focus on getting back into shape but looking back at these pictures makes me so in awe of my body and what it’s achieved. I grew a human. So grateful to have been able to do that.
'I had a positive experience with birth and pregnancy, I absolutely loved it and I am sending all the pregnant ladies, fellow parents and people that want children so much love.
"Greatest gift of all time with a sprinkle of pain and burning."
The star has been keeping her followers up to date on her journey into motherhood as she regularly documents her thoughts and feelings as a first time mother.
Most recently, Montana shared an update on Jude's laser procedure following his tongue and lip tie.
She explained more about his condition, which she enquired about after having 'issues with breastfeeding', in an Instagram story: "We had an appointment with a lactation consultant yesterday.
"Jude is tongue-tied and I just wasn't expecting her to tell me that he's tongue-tied.
"I've had a few issues with breastfeeding," she continued. "Just with the fact it's been quite painful since the start and obviously this explains it that he's got a tongue-tie and he's also got a lip tie as well, which I didn't notice so it's stopped him from properly latching."
Finishing her update, the star, who shares Jude with her fiancé Mark, said she's glad they had got it done and diagnosed, but just wishes they'd had it lasered sooner.
