Naomie Harris Joins Chiwetel Ejiofor in Showtime’s ‘Man Who Fell To Earth’ Series

Naomie Harris has signed on to star in Showtime’s The Man Who Fell To Earth series.

The 44-year-old actress will join Chiwetel Ejiofor in the drama series based on Walter Tevis’ 1963 science fiction novel of the same name.

Naomie is set to portray Justin Falls, who is described as “a brilliant scientist and engineer who must conquer her own demons in the race to save two worlds.”

Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet are writing and executive producing the series and with executive producer John Hlavin will serve as showrunners.

“To be working with an actor of Naomie’s caliber is an absolute dream,” the producers shared in a statement. “Her strength, her complexity and her bold artistic choices are an inspiration. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on board.”

The Man Who Fell to Earth drama series will center on a new alien character (Ejiofor) who arrives on Earth at a turning point in human evolution and must confront his own past to determine our future.
