Amanda Owen, 47, lives on Ravenseat Farm with her husband Clive Owen and her nine children, with the shepherdess regularly taking to social media to share details of farm life. The Our Yorkshire Farm star took to social media late last night to share how Storm Dudley had affected her farm, as she detailed the “diabolical conditions”.
Conditions have been diabolical.

Amanda shared three pictures to Twitter of herself with the farm animals.
One picture showed herself smiling holding on to her hat, with the wind pulling her back.
She captioned the post in view of her 190,700 followers: “Hang onto your hats as #StormDudley has arrived.
“Conditions have been diabolical.
“Some of our more outlying flocks are coming back down from the moor & into the land tomorrow in case the snow comes.”
At the end of her post she included the hashtags: “#shepherdess #storms #weather #watchout.”
Many took to the comments to share their experience with Storm Dudley and wish her and her family well.
Pamela108Pam said: “I hope that you are all well and safe and sound.”
Kimnicholls16 added: “Real strong winds in Mid Wales – hope you guys are all ok.” (sic)
KenBlackwell14 commented: “Stay warm and safe.
“You’re quite the lady to handle the weather, animals and your kids. Much respect Amanda.”
The shepherdess regularly shares updates, most recently sharing a tragic loss at the farm.
Amanda issued the touching update from Ravenseat Farm after the sad stillbirth of one of her calves.
A cow named Lily suffered a tragedy when her calf died during labour, but she has now become a mum again after a genius move from Amanda.
The shepherdess shared the “gory” process as she explained she had removed the dead calf from Lily and covered another baby cow, named Stormy, with its skin.
This, she explained, made Lily believe Stormy was actually hers, and she began to let her suckle.
One week on, the two gentle creatures are now “inseparable”, according to Amanda.
Alongside adorable photos of the mother-daughter duo, she wrote: “Lily & Stormy.
“It’s nearly a week since the calf was fostered onto the cow that had the stillborn calf.
“Now they are inseparable.”
