Paddy McGuinness returns home from Thailand amid marriage split rumours as he promises ‘cuddles’

Paddy McGuiness has promised his wife Christine "cuddles" after returning from Thailand, where he has been filming for the latest series of Top Gear.

The presenter's comments come after his wife of 11 years, 34, admitted they are "having a very, very difficult time."

She added: "It’s just — we’ve been together 15 years, 11 years married: we are gonna have ups and downs — but this situation at the minute — I don’t want to go into it too much but I will just say that I didn’t cause this situation.

"What I might have put up with in the past, I probably wouldn’t put up with now, and the same for him. I'm feeling really quite raw and all over the place."

But it appears as though the dad of three, 48, is determined to put things right after he commented "Cuddles tomorrow!!!" beneath one of Christine's Instagram posts.

The snap showed the 34 year old with her three children as they enjoyed the sun and played in an inflatable paddling pool.

Rumours of their issues started when as the couple celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on 4 June, but made no public post or comment regarding the occasion.

Paddy also hasn't appeared on Christine’s Instagram feed since February, when she shared a promotional photo of the pair as they launched their first podcast, TableTalk, which discussed the realities of parenting a sick or disabled child.

And it seemed as though fan's fears had been realised when Paddy appeared to have removed the heart tattoo tribute he got for his wife.

He was seen in a short clip on Chris Baber's Instagram feed holding up a canned drink – but the iconic heart tattoo was nowhere to be seen.

Paddy previously explained that he got the inking done as tribute to make up for having lost his wedding ring twice since they married back in 2011.

In July, Christine and Paddy were snapped looking tearful whilst sat in their Mercedes G Class Wagon at a McDonald's Drive Thru.

Christine could be seen rubbing her eyes, whilst Paddy appeared glum wearing a cap and a hoody.

A person who witnessed the moment told The Sun: "They looked miserable.

"At one point Christine wiped her eyes. They were peering in different directions. Their body language did not seem at all friendly.

"Both looked as if they had the weight of the world on their shoulders."
