Peter Andre hints daughter Millie, 9, could be a star: She loves being centre stage

Peter Andre revealed that his daughter Millie landed the role of Matilda when she attended a drama workshop with her brother Theo, five, saying his nine year old has a "great singing voice".

The Mysterious Girl singer, 50, went on to explain that he is unsure whether Millie would like to go down the entertainment career route – but admitted she does "love" being centre stage.

He shared in his column: "The kids have been doing a Matilda drama workshop for a few days over the Easter holidays while Emily and I have been working, and Millie got the part of Matilda.

"So last Thursday, after I appeared on Loose Women, I rushed straight back home to see her in the show."

"She's got a great little singing voice and she's a good little actress but we'll see – I don't know if she will fancy a career in entertainment," Pete, who is also father to Junior and Princess with ex Katie Price, continued.

"Some kids love doing stuff like that when they're young but it doesn't mean that's what they'll do when they're older.

"Theo was in the show too but he's the shy one, which is so cute.

"It would be his worst nightmare to be centre stage, whereas Millie loves it!"

It comes after Pete revealed to OK! that he wants his kids to spend less time on their phones and iPads as he has encouraged them to be more "creative" with their time, by going back to "old-fashioned playing".

He shared: "We have really cut down on the kids’ screen time lately and it has made them so much more creative.

"As soon as the iPad isn’t an option, they start doing other stuff like dressing up in superhero outfits or just good ol’ fashioned playing, it’s lovely to see."

While he isn't sure about Millie's future career path just yet, his eldest son Junior Andre has been following in his footsteps by releasing his own music as a solo artist.

Junior, 17, released his first single, Slide, which hit the charts last year, and his mum Katie, 44, shared her thoughts on him and his sister Princess, 15, in an interview with OK!.

"His dad is a singer," she talks of ex Pete. "So he’s [Junior] following in his footsteps. Junior is a mini-Pete, and Princess is a mini-me. But of course they have their own identities."

She continued: "He’s at that age where he’s too cool for school. He’s so driven. He’s so different to me. Junior has really got his head screwed on. He’s got Pete’s personality – calm and collected."
