Peter Andre reveals he’s put his foot down over paying for his daughter Princess to bring her boyfriend on their family holiday: ‘They would have to be long-term!’
Peter Andre has revealed he’s put his foot down over allowing his daughter Princess, 16, to bring a boyfriend on holiday with them.
The singer, 50, admitted he was unsure if he would allow it because he doesn’t want his two younger children ‘seeing their older siblings bring other people’.
Peter also admitted he feels ‘anxious’ thinking about his eldest daughter Princess sharing a room with her boyfriend if he were to join them on holiday.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: ‘It’s an interesting one. It would have to be a long-term relationship for me to pay for a partner of one of my kids to come on holiday with us. I have two young kids, I don’t want them just seeing older siblings bringing people along.
‘My main question is where are they going to stay? I don’t want them staying in the same room!

‘It might be a different story if it’s a long-term relationship. It’s a good question… I got anxious thinking about it.’
It comes after the Mysterious Girl hitmaker revealed that he has ‘strict rules’ for Princess and her first boyfriend – who has not yet had a sleepover with her beau in his home, he added.
He said his stipulations are ‘very straight forward’ and he hopes they will set a good example to his younger children Amelia, nine, and Theo, six.
He explained that ‘everyone knows’ his three simple requests for boyfriends or girlfriends as he explained they must ‘be downstairs, the doors are open and its daytime’.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline to help launch On the Beach’s Summer Sun Report, Peter opened up about his tips for parenting a teen romance.
He said: ‘Any parenting tips or rules are only as good as they are in your house. My rules in my house are very straightforward. Everyone knows them, it’s not even a question.
‘With boyfriends or girlfriends, it’s downstairs, doors are open and it’s daytime. Down the line if there is a sleepover, one can sleep downstairs.
‘We have younger children too and you don’t want them seeing things. If the relationship ends and then you bring someone else in, it doesn’t look right and as far as the little kids are concerned it’s always a friend is over.
New beau: Peter’s eldest daughter Princess, who recently revealed a new relationship with her boyfriend in May, makes Peter ‘anxious’, he recalled
Family: Peter is also father to son Junior, 18, with ex-wife Katie Price and has daughter Amelia and son Theo with wife Emily MacDonagh
Rules: Peter explained that ‘everyone knows’ his three simple requests for boyfriends or girlfriends as he explained they must ‘be downstairs, the doors are open and its daytime’
‘I have strict rules when it comes to that but like I said, downstairs, doors open and daytime.’

The singer, who has recently returned from a fun-filled holiday at his home in Cyprus, gushed that the blended family are very close and love spending time together.
He said: ‘I built the house in Cyprus after buying the land and it was always my dream with the kids and eventually it will be theirs.
‘We recently revamped it a bit and we’ve started renting it out so whenever there is a gap we go and enjoy ourselves.
‘It’s funny, the kids have asked to go out and I’ve said to Junior “Look you can go out now you’re 18, but there will be rules”.
‘We’ve always done this thing where we do things together as a family. I can’t remember the last time me and Ems went on holiday and it was just us two are going for dinner.
‘We do everything together, we go to the coffee shops, the pool or the beach and we will all go for dinner and play tennis at night together because we have a court.
‘Princess and Junior sometimes want to have some downtime but we do spend a lot of time together and holidays are about being together.’
