You’d be forgiven for not recognising Peter Andre in his new film, Last Respects. The singer looked utterly unrecognisable in long black wig, as he posed alongside castmates on set.
It’s a major departure from the 49-year-old’s usually shorter look, which has become somewhat of his trademark over the years.
After co-star Sean Cronin shared photos taken during film, Pete even commented on the difference the 70s-style wig made.
“What a laugh.” He wrote.
The A Whole New World singer has been taking on more work as an actor of late, most notable appearing in the West End as Fontaine alongside fellow Australian Jason Donovan.
Given his ever-increasing workload, there is plenty for fans to enjoy, including a more dramatic role in the film On The Other Foot, in which Pete plays a racist thug.
Released earlier this year, the film follows Billy Pitcher, a racist man who goes on a journey of self-discovery after visiting an African church for the first time.
Speaking to The Sun about the film, director Fredi Nkwaka told the press that he expected audiences to be “very, very shocked….”.
"They're going to watch this film and be like, 'wow', because he's not expected to act in the way that he acts, and this people are going to be shocked. "
The director also praised Pete on social media, where he spoke about his decision to cast Pete because of his "solidarity in the fight against racism".
However, the TV personality is to have some downtime too.
The father-of-four recently attended the Pride of Britain awards with his oldest children, Junior, 17, and Princess, 15.
Looking sharp in a navy suit, Pete proudly walked the red carpet with his teenage children. Sharing the moment on Instagram, the singer wrote: “So many incredible stories from incredible people. Get ready for Thursday night Pride Of Britain Awards.”
The dotting Dad even shared a clip of the family travelling to the event, singing with his children, whom he shares with ex-wife Katie Price.
Since their divorce, Peter has found love for a second time with Emily MacDonagh whom he married in 2015 in a private ceremony near Exeter. Despite already having two children with the junior doctor, Peter recently admitted to OK! that he would love to have another child.
“We love the idea of having one more child, because the two we have together are the most amazing kids – but that thought usually lasts until we see other people with screaming babies! I don’t know.”
