Phineas and Ferb co-creator Dan Povenmire is dishing on rebooting the show!
The hit animated series celebrates it’s 15th anniversary since it officially premiered on Disney Channel, on February 1, 2008, and for the big day, Disney shared a video with Dan answering questions about the show.
The final question asked was about the upcoming reboot, which was announced a couple weeks ago!

“Disney was very clear saying they don’t think it’s broken. We don’t need to fix it,” he said. “We’ve done two other shows in the meantime, and I think we’re just going to use our experience from that time and throw it back into this universe.”
He also shared his favorite episode, his favorite songs, if their parents would appear and the main inspiration for the show.

Phineas and Ferb will be back for 40 brand new episodes, spread across two seasons. No premiere date has been set just yet.
