Piers Morgan has admitted Meghan Markle has been "great for his career".
While attending the TRIC Awards 2021, which OK! has partnered with, Piers, 56, admitted he "didn't care" what Meghan would think if he won the News Presenter award at the ceremony – an accolade he later went on to take.
"Who cares what Meghan thinks? She's been great for my career to be honest with you. I really just want to thank her," the controversial presenter told OK! and other reporters.
He added: "We haven't heard much out of her since Ofcom, she's been a bit quiet. It was a victory for free speech, whether people like me or don't like me we're all entitled to our opinion."
Piers, who invited Susanna Reid on stage to share his Best Presenter award at the ceremony, recently assured fans he'd be back on TV "soon" after he was cleared by Ofcom.
He admitted to he's currently got a "little plan," which he couldn't discuss to much more about.
"It might be coming quite soon. I can't tell you anymore but it won't be long."
It comes after the broadcaster said he "wouldn't go back" to Good Morning Britain after Ofcom cleared him over his remarks about Meghan earlier this year.
The journalist made Ofcom history as his rants about the Duchess of Sussex became the most complained about moment on TV, with a total of 57,121 complaints.
Meghan, 40, was amongst those who complained to the regulator about Piers' comments. The former GMB host sensationally stormed off the ITV set and later quit the show following his rants.

However, Ofcom has since ruled that Piers' comments have not broken any of the regulator's rules.
Once he won the Ofcom battle, Piers tweeted: "I’m delighted OFCOM has endorsed my right to disbelieve the Duke & Duchess of Sussex’s incendiary claims to Oprah Winfrey, many of which have proven to be untrue.
"This is a resounding victory for free speech and a resounding defeat for Princess Pinocchios. Do I get my job back?"
His post sparked rumours of a return to the ITV breakfast show but Piers has since said that he "wouldn't go back" to GMB and that he posted the message to "prove a point".

Piers reunited with co-stars Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway and Ben Shepherd at the TRIC Awards, admitting he hadn't seen Susanna since his departure from the show.
Piers has had more success at the TRIC Awards than he did at the National Television Awards.
Piers was in the running for the Best Presenter Award for his work with former employer ITV on Good Morning Britain, but hadn’t shown up for the ceremony.
As the nominees for the award were announced, the crowd could be heard booing for a moment before the sound was drowned out by other members of the audience – which included many of Piers' celebrity pals – cheering.
Piers was up against Alison Hammond and Holly Willoughby from This Morning, The Chase’s Bradley Walsh and I’m a Celebrity duo Ant and Dec.
