Prince Andrew has agreed not to repeat that he didn't rape Virginia Guiffre due to a clause in their out-of-court settlement, The Telegraph has reported.
The Duke of York, 61, avoided heading into court by financially settling with Virginia, 38, for what is said to be £12million – which the Queen will reportedly help pay.
However, according to the publication, as part of a gagging clause in the settlement, neither side can discuss the sex abuse case or the financial deal.
It's been said that the terms only prevent Virginia from speaking about it again for a specific period of time, which could potentially allow her to write a book or give TV interviews in the future.
According to the publication, the Duke's main focus during the settlement was to prevent the case from overshadowing the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. It's been said that the silence from both parties will last until the celebrations have come to an end.
A friend of the Duke claimed: “If you’re going to go for legal resolution at those sorts of prices then you want silence – but what we’ve got is silence for the Platinum Jubilee.”
Virginia is said to be set to give a victim impact statement to a New York court in June.
A source close to the Duke told OK! Online: "I’m afraid the terms of the agreement prevent either side from commenting or discussing the settlement or the case in anyway."
Andrew made the claim that he has no memory of meeting Virginia in a BBC Newsnight interview back in 2019, during which he explained: "I have no recollection of ever meeting this lady, none whatsoever."
He also said he had no memory of a photograph of him with his arm around Virginia's waist at Ghislaine Maxwell's house. He also said there was no way of proving whether the picture was faked or not, but questioned whether it was his hand in the snap.
"I can't because I don't… I have no… again I have absolutely no memory of that photograph ever being taken," he said, adding: "That's me but whether that's my hand or whether that's the position I… but I don't… I have simply no recollection of the photograph ever being taken."

Andrew had a civil case against him filed by Virginia in August last year, alleging he had sexually assaulted her when she was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein.
It claimed that Andrew had sexually assaulted her on three occasions when she was under the age of 18, which the Duke denied.
Andrew was stripped of his honorary and military titles after a US judge refused the Duke's lawyer's request to have the case thrown out late last year.
Now, documents submitted to a US court have stated: “Virginia Giuffre and Prince Andrew have reached an out of court settlement.

"The parties will file a stipulated dismissal upon Ms Giuffre’s receipt of the settlement (the sum of which is not being disclosed).
“Prince Andrew intends to make a substantial donation to Ms. Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights.
“Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms Giuffre’s character, and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks."
