Prince George and Princess Charlotte are following in their granny’s footsteps, OR SHOULD I SAY HER HORSES’ HOOFSTEPS. Apparently Kate Middleton and Prince William’s eldest children have taken up the expensive and very royal hobby of horseback riding, much like the Queen before them. I mean, she’s a legend, just look at her atop this magnificent steed:
George and Charlotte have been riding at their home in Norfolk, and according to The Times, the Queen is “taking a close interest in her great-grandchildren’s progress in the saddle.” Oh, and they’re expected to join Her Majesty for rides at Windsor and Balmoral once the pandemic is over. Meanwhile, William is “thrilled” by his kids’ new hobby, so yay!
The royal kiddos have stayed pretty out of the spotlight lately, and apparently Kate Middleton is being ultra protective of them amid fallout from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s bombshell interview with Oprah.
“The interview was particularly difficult for Kate to digest, but she’s pulled herself together and is staying strong for the royal family and her children,” a royal insider told Us Weekly. “Kate’s an extremely protective mother and while she’s all about open communication, George, Charlotte, and Louis are still young.”
The source also mused, “She has a lead-by-example attitude, so it’s important for her to be a good role model to them. George and Charlotte are back at school, but she’s been spending her evenings with them. The children always brighten up her day, and she always says that when she goes through a difficult time, having her family there always helps. She feels so blessed to have her kids and a loving family.”
You love all the deets on royals. So do we. Let’s overanalyze them together.
