Prince Harry could dump book deal after Queens funeral to avoid costing family

Prince Harry may end up dropping his book deal after coming together with the Royal Family for Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral, a royal photographer has said.

Last year, Harry, 37, announced plans for his tell-all book, in which will focus on his time as a young royal living in the United Kingdom, all the way up to becoming a dad-of-two now living in Los Angeles.

At the time, Harry released a statement that said: "I'm writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.

"I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think,” he added.

But now, in a recent interview with GB News, royal photographer Ian Lloyd, talked about Harry and his yet-to-be released memoir.

Ian said: “It’s great [Harry] is back with the family and I was wondering what he was going through his mind whether he thinks…

“I mean there are two sides now completely, there is a private Harry and there is a public Harry.” he added.

TV host Stephen Dixon then pointed out how Harry didn't come across as "happy,” to which Ian agreed by saying “I don’t think so”.

“It’s funny as we’ve got this autobiography coming up and Penguin has paid £17million for it. They’re gonna want their pound of flesh, and they want it now.” he added.

Anne Diamond who joined the conversation, admitted that Penguin would "want some edgy newsworthy stuff", she also said that it would "be a cost to the Royal family".

Positive that Harry's memoir would not be going ahead as planned, Stephen said “I think it might get ditched, you know.

“They’re trying to bring him in. They don’t want any issues over this funeral. They don’t want anybody afterwards sitting there thinking, ‘What went wrong?’"

He ended by saying: “They don’t want any of that, it’s got to be perfect to honour the Queen and I think that with Harry, they’ve got the feeling he could dump the book.”

On Saturday (September 17), Prince Harry and his older brother Prince William, showed a bonded front as they held a vigil for their beloved grandmother.

Since the passing of Her Majesty, the brothers have been spotted getting along after royal fans noticed that Harry, 37, appeared to be on better terms with William, 40, just last weekend.

The powerful pair made a public appearance together, just days after Her Royal Highness passed away, where they were seen reading tributes outside Buckingham Palace, alongside their wives; Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.
