Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might not have enjoyed getting mocked on the latest episode of South Park, but they won’t be suing! A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex clapped back at the many lawsuit rumors on Tuesday, telling People:
“It’s all frankly nonsense. Totally baseless, boring reports.”
While they’re not pursuing legal action, the couple is probably still fuming over the now-viral portrayal of themselves in the comedy!
In the new episode, titled “Worldwide Privacy Tour,” the “Prince and Princess of Canada” sit for an interview while promoting the prince’s memoir and demanding their right to privacy. There were numerous brutal digs at the royals, especially Meghan, and the whole thing was very reminiscent of their IRL ordeal! You can get a glimpse at the episode (below):
The spoof was said to have made the Suits alum “upset and overwhelmed,” according to a source for The Spectator, who noted that she might be “annoyed by South Park but refuses to watch it all.” So, if no legal action is coming, we bet Harry and Meghan are seriously hoping the internet will just stop watching the episode as soon as possible! Thoughts?! Sound OFF (below)!
