In a new teaser for the upcoming Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, the Duke of Sussex speaks out on the "pain and suffering" of women marrying into the Royal Family.
Released on 5 December, the minute-long clip sees Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 41, in a car as his voiceover says: "It's really hard to look back on it now and go, 'What on earth happened?'"
This is followed by the voice of a broadcaster saying: "You hear that? That is the sound of hearts breaking all around the world," while clips of the royal couple in various situations flash across the screen.
"She's becoming a royal rockstar!" someone shouts as Meghan then snaps her fingers in one scene after saying: "And then…" as Harry finishes: "Everything changed."
"There's a hierarchy of the family. You know, there's leaking, but there's also planting of stories," Harry says, before calling it all a "dirty game".
"The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy," he adds.
Meghan, who is said to have taken a photographer into Buckingham Palace with Harry without the Queen's permission, then says: "I realised, 'They're never going to protect you.'"
"I was terrified. I didn't want history to repeat itself. No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth," Harry adds as the trailer comes to an end.
Netflix confirmed Volume I will be released on 8 December with three episodes, while Volume II will air on 15 December.
Royal fans have already flocked to the comments section to react to the trailer as one person wrote: "All the movies, books and magazines with made up stories about them, who better to tell it than them? Privacy does not equal silence. You were invading their privacy. It is theirs to tell".
Another shared: "OMG Diana went through the most, that's why harry is so protective of his princess," followed by a red heart emoji.
A third added: "Cannot wait for the truth to finally comes out!!!" with four fire emojis and two clapping hands emojis.
The first trailer for their docuseries was released on 1 December, where a producer can be heard asking them: “Why do you want to make this documentary?”
Later, Harry says: “No one sees what goes on behind closed doors.
"I had to do everything I could to protect my family," before a photo of Meghan in a car wiping a tear away appears on screen.
The clip draws to a conclusion as Meghan is seen wiping her tears away as Harry leans his head back against a couch.
"When the stakes are this high, does it make more sense to hear our story from us?" Meghan questions as she is seen in colour wearing a lilac jumper with her mane down.
