Prince Harry’s ex Cressida Bonas gives birth to first baby as new pics emerge

Cressida Bonas, the ex-girlfriend of Prince Harry, has given birth to her first child with husband Harry Wentworth Stanley.

The happy couple have been photographed out on a stroll with their newborn, but have not yet publicly announced the name and sex of their child.

Cressida and husband Harry, both 33, were snapped looking casual as they headed out in West London, with he the actress and model donning a dark blue coat and black cap, paired with leggings and black trainers.

Property investor Harry sported two grey hoodies, a pair of blue jeans and white trainers as he strolled alongside his wife, as the couple alternated who was pushing the pram.

Cressida married Harry Wentworth Stanley, the son of the Marchioness of Milford Haven, in 2020 in an intimate ceremony that was held in-line with Covid guidelines in place at the time.

Speaking about the lowkey nuptials, a guest told the MailOnline: "It was a beautiful ceremony and they are just so happy. It was a very private and intimate ceremony and that is what they wanted."

Before her relationship with her now-husband, Cressida was in a relationship with Prince Harry from 2012 to 2014. The pair were introduced to each other in 2012 by Cressida's close friend, and Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie.

And while the relationship may not have worked out, the pair remain on good terms, with Cressida even attending her ex's wedding to Meghan Markle.

At the time of her breakup from Prince Harry it was reported that they has "split amicably" as she became tired of the scrutiny that came alongside dating a member of the royal family.

Royal expert Robert Lacey has written in his book, Battle of Brothers, that it was the royal tour of Australia and New Zealand by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge that “spooked” the actress.

Robert wrote: "A rising actress, Cressida did not enjoy the critical remarks that she could hear people making behind her back when she walked down the street in London – she felt that the fame of her relationship put her 'in a box'.

"In 2014, she was said to have been 'completely spooked' after watching the TV coverage of William and Kate touring New Zealand with baby George in tow – that was not the way she would want to enjoy her eight month old son, she regretfully explained to Harry."

A number of Harry's exes are said to have been asked to contribute to his book, although it remains unknown if one of those asked was Cressida.

Harry is said to have reached out to numerous ex-girlfriends to contribute to the book by speaking to his ghost writer, JR Moehringer.

Speaking about the royal family's concerns about this, a source told The Sun: "There is a real concern that that means Harry has had to sex up the book and include revelations that even he might not even be that comfortable with."

While another source said: "Harry did reach out. Friends and girlfriends were polite and said they would think about it but ultimately most said No."
