Princess Beatrice re-wears favourite £800 dress for eco-minded BBC bash

Princess Beatrice cut a chic figure in one of her favourite dresses – worn at a celeb-packed launch event with the theme of ‘pre-loved elegance’.

The 34 year oldroyal recycled her long navy dress from The Vampire’s Wife as she stepped out to mark theopening of the BBC Earth Experience, a new interactive attraction that explores the natural world across seven continents.

The designer’s Corduroy Festival Dress retails for £795 and is one of Beatrice's favourites.

She wore it for thePlatinum Party At The Palace last summer with the rest of the Royal Family and owns it in different colours too.

The Vampire’s Wife says the gown comes in "midnight jumbo corduroy" and features a slim-fitting bodice, a three-quarter length skirt and a crisply pleated hem panel.

Its website description reads: “Sleeves are finished with neatly pleated cuffs. Centre-back concealed zip closure. Lined in 100 percent silk crepe.”

Beatrice, attending the BBC Earth Experience launch event at Daikin Centre, in West Kensington, London, paired the dress with black boots and her favourite bracelets – with her hair kept loose around her shoulders and a minimal make-up look.

Fans took to social media to heap praise on Beatrice’s look at the bash.

One Instagram user said: "This looks amazing on her. It's almost like she's the muse for Vampire Wife's designs – fabulous look on her!"

Another added: "She looks amazing!! I think this is one of her best looks.”

A third posted: "I love this dress in all colours on anyone who wears it. It looks absolutely fabulous on all body types.”

She also stunned last year during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities, wearing a multicolour floor-length floral gown by the same designer for the preview of A Gallop Through History in Windsor Castle.
