Jessie Wallace commended her 17 year old daughter Tallulah Lilac Morgan in her breastfeeding journey as she shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram on Monday.
The Eastenders star became a grandmother at the age of 50 when grandson SJ arrived earlier this month. Now, she is beaming at how well daughter Tallulah had become accustomed to her new role as mum in a short space of time.
Posting a sweet photo of baby SJ’s little hand, Jessie explained how her daughter had been getting help from breastfeeding specialist, Amanda Marks. She wrote in the caption: “I'm so proud of what Tallulah has achieved since she has started working with Amanda.
"Amanda Marks has been amazing working with our family and has taught Tallulah so much about breastfeeding."
The soap actress continued to praise Tallulah’s consultant Amanda for helping her daughter throughout the breastfeeding process and said that the expert “really cares about the families she works with”.
Clearly proud of daughter Tallulah in her newest experience tending to her baby boy, Jessie mentioned that the pair were “grateful” for the consultant’s advice on breastfeeding.
"Tallulah and I are so grateful for everything she has done and we recommend her to anyone who needs support with breastfeeding, weaning, sleeping, etc," she added.
Jessie shares her daughter Tallulah with her policeman ex Dave Morgan, whom she split with when Tallulah was seven months old.
The TV star made the surprising announcement that she had become a grandma on Instagram a couple of weeks ago as she posted a black-and-white photo of her grandson sleeping.
“Welcome to the world, my grandson SJ. You are loved, cherished and adored,” Jessie told her 131,000 followers at the time.
Her fans were quick to send their congratulations after hearing the news, with one posting: “Congratulations Nana @jessie.wallace_official and family his absolutely gorgeous x".
"Awww Congratulations,” a second person wrote, as another said: "Welcome little one xx".
Fellow Eastenders actress Lacey Turner also offered up her blessings in the comment section, as she wrote: “Beautiful boy”, while Balvinder Sopal, who plays Suki Panesar on the soap, added: "Congratulations”.
Jessie had not spoken publicly about her daughter Tallulah being pregnant up until she gave birth and so many fans were shocked to learn of the latest update in her personal life.
The actress seems unfazed however at her new role as grandma and appears to have taken on the title with pride as she has continued to reveal glimpses of how life has been with baby SJ since his arrival.
