Quavo Confirms Migos Will NOT Reform Without Takeoff In Heartbreaking New Lyrics

It looks like this is the end of Migos.

After Takeoff‘s tragic death late last year, fans were left wondering if Migos would ever return, and it looks like his bandmate and uncle Quavo is finally giving answers. In his new song Greatness, the 31-year-old rapper revealed in the lyrics that the group would not be reforming without Takeoff:

“So don’t ask about the group / he gone, we gone … / it can’t come back”

So sad.

This isn’t the first time Quavo has opened up about the loss of his nephew in a song. Just last month the rapper released another track titled Without You which also featured some lyrics relating to Takeoff’s death:

“Tears rolling down my eyes / Can’t tell you how many times I cried / Days ain’t the same without you / I don’t know if I’m the same without you”

He continued later in the song:

“I wish I had a time machine / Just so you can take a ride with me / Wrap my arms around and hold you tight, Phew, so you could never say goodbye to me / Out in the galaxy, up in the stars / Over the universe, it’s bigger than Mars / See you in heaven, see you heaven / When I see you in heaven, I’ma be with my dog”

The Stir Fry rapper has released some wonderful tributes to Takeoff, it’s so sad things had to end like this. We’re sending love and light to Quavo, Offset, Cardi B, and the rest of the late rapper’s family and loved ones. May they continue to find peace amid this unthinkable tragedy.
