Ralf Little, 41, wrote an emotional tribute to his beloved pet dog Dora, who he rescued from the streets of Guadeloupe, the island where Death In Paradise is filmed. The actor admitted the little pooch “changed his life” after he adopted her, and it’s very clear she feels the same way.
To say you changed my life would be an understatement!

Taking to Instagram, fans gushed over the series of photographs of Ralf and Dora, as he held her in his arms while he smiled for the camera.
“Almost a year since I met this crazy little pup,” he penned alongside the snaps.
“To say you changed my life would be an understatement!
“Can’t wait to be reunited again…”
He added: “P.S Swipe along to see Dora’s comically long tongue.”
Fans rushed to the comments section to share their sweet comments on the pair, with one saying: “Totally understand you! Dog are incredible!”
“She was so lucky to have met you,” a second beamed.
A third noted: “So cute. Dogs bring such joy into our lives.”
“Thank you for taking her in and for falling in love with her. You are a wonderful soul and she’s a lucky dog,” a fourth praised the actor for his kindness and generosity.
A fifth said: “She’s living her best life now.”

While a sixth giggled: “The third picture shows you’re smitten!!”
For the past year or so, Ralf has been on a mission while filming the latest series of the BBC murder mystery drama, by helping look after stray puppies that have been found around the island.
After finding Dora and falling in love with her, it seems he’s inspired others to do the same.
He recently took to social media to give fans a “long overdue” update on the newest pooch he and his team saved from the streets; one that found a home with a member of the production team.
Filming himself sunbathing on the beach, leaving viewers envious of the bright blue sky, he said: “Here’s a long overdue update on the pup that was rescued from the streets of Guadeloupe.
“She has been officially named Dèhè, which is the name of the town where we film Death In Paradise, where everything’s based.
“It seems very fitting!”
And he couldn’t wait to tell fans the good news about her future.
“She’s been fully adopted now by my friend Chiara, who works in the office,” he smiled.
“Chiara has taken her on like an absolute legend and is going to take her back to Europe with her when we’ve finished the job.”
But while Dèhè has a long and happy path ahead with her new family, Ralf admitted there’s a slight problem with getting her away from the island.
“Chiara has a slight problem,” he sighed, “I don’t know whether you watched one of my earlier videos, but it turns out the little dog and the local, random stray cat love each other.
“LOVE each other!” he exclaimed.
“To the point where I’m like, ‘You might need to take the cat as well!'”
He reassured viewers that he wasn’t exaggerating, as the video cut to some footage of Dèhè and the feline known as Romeo, rolling around on the floor together.
