Rebekah Vardy has swiftly left the Royal Courts of Justice for the third time in the seven-day Wagatha Christie trial.
Rebekah's Instagram account was accused by Coleen Rooney of leaking fake stories about her in October 2019 in a now-infamous Instagram post dubbed Wagatha Christie. Rebekah, 40, denies the allegations and is suing 36 year old Coleen for libel.
On the final day of the ordeal, Coleen's barrister David Sherborne delivered his closing argument, accusing Rebekah's evidence of being "ill-considered and lacking in candour".
After 30 minutes of listening to Mr Sherborne, Rebekah stood up with her laptop in hand and left the courtroom. It is unclear whether she is planning to return.
While Rebekah may have fled the court, Coleen and her husband Wayne, 36, didn't even step foot inside today as they jetted off on holiday with their kids instead.
The libel case was due to finish on Wednesday but went into extra time to allow barristers to prepare their final arguments at the Royal Courts of Justice.
Expecting that the trial would have been over by now, it has been revealed that the Rooneys have gone ahead with their holiday commitments with their brood.
Coleen's barrister started the hearing by apologising for his client as he told the judge: "They intended no disrespect to the court."
Coleen's barrister told the High Court that the couple had a “long-standing travel arrangement” and passed on their "individual apologies."
The judge, Mrs Justice Steyn, said: “I don’t take offence”.

Meanwhile, a source had told MailOnline: "It's been a long and gruelling process for both Wayne and Coleen, and they didn't want to disappoint their children."
In the hearing today, Mr Sherborne said Rebekah "regularly and frequently" leaked information from his client's private Instagram account and explained that Jamie's wife's evidence is "entirely unreliable".
He said Rebekah's case had been "shrunk to almost nothing if not entirely disintegrated," adding that there's a "slither of a case".
Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy feud
"It's simply a case of whether Mrs Vardy, an admitted leaker herself, knew what Ms Watt was doing,'' Sherborne said, referring to Rebekah's former agent Caroline Watt.
Mr Sherborne said Mrs Justice Karen Steyn has to rule on two things – whether the post was "substantially true" and if it was a "statement of public interest".
The trial continues.
