Richard Madeley’s daughter Chloe was rushed to hospital for eating too much cheese

Jack and Chloe Madelely may be the children of TV royalty Richard and Judy, but that does not mean they do not get up to the same tricks as any other siblings.

The son of the I'm A Celebrity contestant revealed a potentially fatal festive eating incident in which his sister had to be taken to hospital on Christmas Eve.

In his story, he posted a screen shot of the Madeley family WhatsApp group.

The talent manager, 35, wrote: "CHLOE – remember when you had to go to hospital on like Christmas Eve because you – genuinely – had eaten too much cheese?"

It is a situation many of us have been dangerously close to finding ourselves in and is a warning for anyone indulging this Christmas time.

The teasing sibling continued: "I can't believe we don't talk about this more as a family. I haven't been able to stop laughing for like 10 mins about it."

Jack revealed the impressive amount of French cheese his sister could digest. He added: "You had like four wheels of camembert to yourself and went into shock."

Thankfully, the revelation was not too serious and fitness influencer Chloe is able to laugh about the tale. The 34 year old replied: "Hahahaha Yes it happened."

The Madeley family had some more hospital drama to contend with as dad Richard was forced to leave the I'm A Celebrity camp after falling ill.

However, just like daughter Chloe, Richard left unscathed and he was keen to return to the Gwrych Castle but was not able to due to Covid restrictions.

Chloe, who is married to ex-rugby player James Haskell, 36, spoke out after it was revealed her dad was taken to hospital, admitting he was annoyed he couldn't go back into camp.

The fitness star wrote: "Thanks for all your lovely messages. Dad’s absolutely fine, we’ve been speaking to him all day and ultimately, he’s just livid he can’t go back into camp because of Covid Restrictions."

The family are clearly fans of a good giggle and Chloe loved her dad's appearance in Wales.

In an Instagram story she wrote: “He did himself proud, though. He worked hard and was his calm, collected, kind and funny self."

Richard also reflected on his time on I'm A Celebrity.

At the time shortly after the TV presenter left camp and could return to the family WhatsApp group, he wrote: “Obviously I’m gutted to be leaving so soon but the safety of all the campmates is the number one priority. I’m incredibly excited to watch their journey continue…even more so at the prospect of being somewhere a little warmer than Gwrych Castle.
