By now, you’ve probably heard the rumors:
Numerous outlets reported last week that A$AP Rocky had cheated on Rihanna with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.
Rihanna is currently pregnant with A$AP’s child, and Amina is a friend who has worked for the singer’s Fenty brand.
In the days after the reports first surfaced, the allegations spread like wildfire on social media.
For their part, RiRi and Rocky kept mum, but their silence only fueled the speculation.
Now, however, others who are in the know have come forward with new information.
And it seems that Rihanna fans who have been hurling criticism at her boyfriend can go ahead and take a break now.
According to a statement posted on Amina’s Twitter page over the weekend, the cheating rumors are 100 percent bogus.
“I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn’t deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile,” the designer wrote.
“I initially assumed that this fake gossip – fabricated with such malicious intent – would not be taken seriously.
“However in the last 24h I’ve been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to speak on topics regardless of factual basis and that nothing is off limits,” Muaddi continued.
“Not even during what should be one of the most beautiful and celebrated times in one’s life.”
Amina ended on a positive note, expressing her hope that the infidelity rumors will not spoil the final weeks of Rihanna’s pregnancy.
“Therefore I have to speak up as this is not only directed towards me but it is related to people I have a great amount of respect and affection for,” she wrote.
“While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best dressed pregnancy life and I go back to my business – I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend!”
Louis Pisano, the fashion blogger who started the rumor, also took to social media to quash the allegations:
“Last night I made a dumb decision to tweet some information I had received,” they tweeted on Friday.
“I’m not going to talk about sources, blame others for a discussion that was started, etc because at the end of the day I made the decision to draft that tweet, press send and put that out with my name on it.”
Pisano apologized “to all parties I involved with my actions and for my reckless tweets,” adding:
“I have no excuse for it, I’ve been way too wrapped up in Twitter drama and unfortunately leaned into being messy as a brand which is something going forward I am going to move away from.”
Rihanna and Rocky still have not commented on the allegations, and at this point, it seems unlikely that they ever will.
Hopefully, RiRi has shifted her focus back to remaining healthy and happy as she prepares to bring a new life into this world.
There’s been no official word on the singer and fashion mogul’s due date, but sources say it might be as early as next month.
We probably don’t need to tell you that her army of devoted fans is already buzzing with anticipation!
