Romeo Beckham, 19, towers after dad David as the pair enjoy a night out

At 19, he's no longer a little boy. And that couldn't have been clearer as David Beckham's son Romeo towered over his dad as they enjoyed a night out together on Wednesday.

The former footballer beamed for the cameras as the two posed side by side at the Blue Moon Gala for Unicef in London.

David stands 5ft11 tall, while Romeo's fashion designer mum Victoria is a petite 5ft 3.

For their night out the pair were dressed in their best formal attire, with David wearing a black double-breasted suit and classic tie while Romeo opted for a more modern take with a skinny tie to complement his black suit.

Although they appeared to share quite the difference in height, the father-and-son duo displayed similar cheeky grins and even wore matching polished shoes as they were photographed together.

David was also seen wearing a blue Unicef badge on his jacket lapel attending the event which marked 75 years of the children’s charity – also titled the United Nations Children’s Fund.

The 46-year-old became a goodwill ambassador for Unicef in 2005 and has continued to work closely with them, setting up his own fund – 7: The David Beckham Fund – with the organisation also.

At the celebratory event, money was raised to provide emergency service response around the world and more support for children across the globe. Other guests in attendance were Lily James, Tom Hiddleston and Eddie Izzard.

Romeo’s appearance with his dad follows his girlfriend Mia Regan’s debut in modelling his mum Victoria Beckham’s designs for a new campaign promoting her line’s Winter clothing collection.

Appearing dressed almost identical to his dad at the Unicef Gala, Romeo seems to be a fan of coordination like his famous mum and dad as he showed up last month with girlfriend Mia wearing synchronized sleek ensembles.

The loved-up pair were photographed at the Fashion Awards held in London on 29 November looking match-made with Romeo in another sharp black suit and tie with gold-accented buttons and Mia in a plunging black dress.

Like his girlfriend, Romeo has also modelled in high-profile campaigns over the years starting with his first booked job as the face of Burberry back in 2013 at just 10-years-old.

This year the handsome star made his cover debut on L’Uomo Vogue and has modelled for Saint Laurent in a selection of photos reshared by pleased mum Victoria in the summer.
