Ronnie Wood, 75, looked thrilled to be taking a trip back down memory lane with 78-year-old Pattie Boyd as she launched a photographic memoir, My Life In Pictures.
The Rolling Stones legend had caused a stir back in the 1970s when he bedded Pattie with the knowledge of her then husband, George Harrison of the Beatles.
In 2007, Ronnie publicly relived the pair’s tempestuous affair, writing in the Daily Mail that, after an evening at the couple’s house, he’d broken the news to George that he would be sleeping with his wife that night.
In an unusual twist, Pattie then revealed that Ronnie’s then wife Krissie Findlay ended up on holiday with George in Spain.
Many years on, Ronnie hit the headlines again for his colourful love life, after leaving his marital home in 2009 to spark up a short-lived relationship with Russian girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova, who was 18 at the time.
However, all of that seemed forgotten at last night’s launch event in London, and he could scarcely keep the grin off his face as he warmly embraced her at The Lower Third club.
Age-defying Ronnie Wood also posed with Sally at the event
Ronnie Wood, whose continuing connection to the Rolling Stones was unmistakable via the tongue logo on his trousers, put on a display of unity with much younger wife Sally at the event.
Ronnie Wood and his wife weren’t the only celebrity couple to attend the event
Posing on the other side of Ronnie Wood and Sally were Led Zeppelin star Jimmy Page and his partner Scarlett Sabet as the two couples partied with Pattie at The Lower Third.
Pattie Boyd’s new book has taken her down memory lane
Pattie Boyd’s photographic memoir will shed some light on the heady years she enjoyed partying with celebrities, particularly throughout the 60s and 70s, when she was considered one of the hottest models around.
George Harrison wrote a track in 1973 about his ill-fated romance with Pattie Boyd
George Harrison’s track, ‘So Sad’, captured his emotions at the time over his failing marriage to Pattie, amid heartache due to affairs, but the couple had once been passionate about each other.
Ronnie Wood has had numerous affairs in his time, including one with a Russian teenager
Pattie Boyd isn’t Ronnie Wood’s only infamous conquest, as he and then teenager Ekaterina Ivanova dated back in 2009. She later told all to the tabloids about her fiery relationship with him.
