Details on the contents of Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare are still extremely hush-hush, and apparently the royal family has not been shown an advanced copy of the book. However! They did kinda get advanced notice about its buzzy title?
According to The Telegraph, “both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace were informed of the book’s title and publication date just ahead of its announcement on Thursday morning.” That said, “no member of the Royal family” has seen a manuscript, and “aides and legal advisors” have also been “kept in the dark.”
This follows reports in The Daily Mail that the royal family’s “lawyers are on standby” for the memoir, and that the household has been warned that the book is “critical of everyone and everything” and they are “dreading it.”
