The grandkids aren’t the only ones with famous friends. Queen Elizabeth II has a long and well-documented history of entertaining some of the biggest names in Hollywood. The pair also helped raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and even got tested for the disease together on World AIDS Day. Thankfully for the audience, Taylor was sweet enough to jump in too, giving us this jaw-dropping moment to treasure.

We can’t get over how cute model-actress Cara Delevingne (standing beside her equally gorgeous sister Poppy Delevingne) looked while speaking to Prince Charles in this July 9, 2013, photo. The sisters were attending London’s Animal Ball, a charity that helps the world’s most endangered wildlife. Prince Charles — who’s spent his life championing endangered animals, conservation and environmental causes — is a regular attendee at the annual ball, but Cara looked delightfully shocked to see him there.

We will never get over the iconic moment when Princess Diana danced with “Saturday Night Fever” star John Travolta at the White House on Nov. 11, 1985. In the background, you can even see former first lady Nancy Reagan — who was dancing with then-president Ronald Reagan — looking at the pair with obvious delight.

We can only imagine how their conversation went, but whatever Philip said, Tom seems to have found it funny. Perhaps he was asking Tom for spoilers in “The Mummy”?

Did you know that Angelina Jolie is a dame? Queen Elizabeth bestowed the honorary title on the “Maleficent” franchise actress on Oct. 10, 2014, to recognize her humanitarian work, including her fight to stop sexual violence against women and children in war. Although not pictured, Angie’s then-husband, Brad Pitt, and their six children were also in the room celebrating her achievement.

Elton John (center) isn’t just friends with Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan. His connection to the royal family dates back to the 1970s when he became friends with Queen Elizabeth II and her sister, Princess Margaret. By 1985 — when this picture was taken at London’s Wembley Stadium — Elton had already developed a fast friendship with Princess Diana too. We can’t leave out George Michael (right) either. This turned out to be the first time Diana and George met, leading to a lasting friendship.

Thanks to his Oscar-nominated role in the 1992 biographical comedy-drama “Chaplin,” a young Robert Downey Jr. got the chance to say hello to the queen. In this photo taken the same year the film came out, Robert, comedic actor Dan Aykroyd (back) and Queen Elizabeth II were all smiles at the movie’s London premiere. Fun fact: In 1975, Elizabeth knighted the real Charlie Chaplin just two years before his death, giving him the honorary title of “Sir.”

They’re all seen together here in July 2019 at the London premiere of “The Lion King.”
