BBC Radio 2 host Rylan Clark-Neal, 32, has reportedly met up with his ex Dan Neal, 41, after the couple’s marriage split in June. The pair sparked reconciliation rumours after Dan was spotted back at the home they shared together over the weekend.
Former policeman Dan’s black Range Rover was seen parked outside the property in Essex.
A source said of the former couple’s meeting: “It was a very sad period but after it all came out into the open they seem to be in a better place and Dan has been back at the home at times.
“Everyone who knows them likes them very much, so hopefully things are working out,” they added to The Sun.
Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for Rylan for comment.
It comes after Rylan devastated fans when he announced that he and Dan had split after six years of marriage.
The former X Factor contestant admitted he had “made a number of mistakes” that led to the breakdown in their relationship.
Rylan said in a statement: “I have made a number of mistakes which I deeply regret and have inevitably led to the breakdown of our marriage.”
He went on to explain his absence from the airwaves on BBC Radio 2.
Rylan explained: “I have taken time away from work as I am not in a good place at the moment and am seeking help.
“I am trying to take each day at a time and would like to say thank you to everyone for their support and for respecting our privacy at this time.”
Rylan then thanked fans for their support amid his career break in a post on social media, writing: “I just wanted to write a message to thank you all for the love and kindness you’ve shown us.
“We are currently prioritising our mental health and looking after the ones around us we love most.”

Before their reported reunion Rylan was pictured still wearing his wedding band weeks after the couple’s split.
The star was seen wearing the ring on his brother’s wedding day.
Rylan shared a sweet snap of his brother and his wife flashing her wedding ring on their special day.
In view of his 1.7 million followers, Rylan wrote a congratulatory message wishing the couple well.
He penned: “After 32 years (genuinely!) my actual age (again genuinely!) they’ve finally done it.
“Congratulations to my brother and sister-in-law. Love you both x.”
Rylan appeared to be in good spirits at the wedding after taking time away from the spotlight amid his split with Dan.
Rylan and former Met Police detective Dan first met while filming Big Brother in 2013.
The pair went on to tie the knot in November 2015.
