S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt has been pictured in public for the first timesince the death of her fellow bandmate, and former ex partner,Paul Cattermole.
In her first public outing, Hannah, who dated Paul briefly during their time in the band in the 2000s, visited the preview of Chessington World of Adventures Resort's new World of Jumanji in Kingston upon Thames alongside her partner Adam Thomas as well as their two daughters Taya and Tora.
For the occasion, the 42 year old looked chic as she opted for a khaki green bomber jacket and a pair of camel coloured cargo trousers.
Finishing off the neutral look, the Reach singer opted for a pair of beige lace up boots and wore her long blonde hair in a half up, half down ‘do.
Her partner Adam meanwhile sported a pair black jeans and a white printed T-shirt in addition to a beige jacket and boots as the family checked out the resort’s brand new Jumani inspired ride.
Hannah’s recent visit comes afterthe tragic death of her fellow S Club 7 singer Paul who passed away last month at the age of 46 – just six months before the band were set to embark on a reunion tour.
In a statement from Paul's family and S Club 7 to OK!, it said: "It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole.
“Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.
“While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances. Paul’s family, friends and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time.”
Following the news of Paul’s passing,Hannah opened up about her memories of her beloved bandmate and former partner and revealed that she couldn’t “stop crying”.
In an emotional interview withThe Sun, she said: “It's still so raw and I have these moments where I don't quite believe that it's real.”
She added: “And with Paul being famous, it makes it more difficult emotionally as it’s a lot harder to block it all out, which is my coping mechanism. Having said that, the messages of support have been heart-warming – they have helped bring a little ray of sunshine within the darkness.”
Meanwhile, the remaining members of the band,Rachel Stevens, Jon Lee, Tina Barrett, Bradley Macintosh and Jo O’Meara have all paid tribute to the late pop icon and said they were “devastated” by the news regarding their “brother” Paul.
