Sarah Ferguson joins ex husband Andrew at Coronation concert after ceremony snub

Sarah Ferguson finally made her appearance in King Charles' Coronation celebrations on Sunday as she joined ex-husband Prince Andrew for the star-studded Windsor Castle concert.

The Duchess Of York, known as Fergie, wasn't in attendance for the Windsor Castle Coronation ceremony just a day prior, after revealing that she didn't get an invite to the occasion.

Fergie was married to thedisgraced Duke of Yorkfor 10 years before their divorce in 1996 and they had two daughters together –Princess BeatriceandPrincess Eugenie. She was the only one of the quartet not to attend the ceremony.

But the family were out in full force for the concert, with Sarah sitting alongside Andrew as their two daughters were also in attendance for the spectacular event – which broadcast live on BBC One.

Despite not being there herself, she did congratulate their Majesties via Instagram, writing: 'Sincerest congratulations to Their Majesties, the King and Queen'.

Explaining that she wasn't offended by the royal snub, Sarah recently said: “It’s a state occasion and being divorced, I don’t think you can have it both ways."

Talking on Good Morning Britain, she added: “You can’t have it both ways. You mustn’t sit on the fence. You’re either in or out, but don’t muck around.”

The Coronation concert welcomed a host of acts from across the arts, including musical renditions from Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Take That, choir performances and a Shakespeare re-enactment from Ncuti Gatwa.

While the previous day's ceremony welcomed a much smaller, and more exclusive guest list to Westminster Abbey as King Charles and Queen Camilla were crowned.

Sarah narrowly missed the presence of Prince Harry, who made his trip to the UK a flying one, attending the Coronation ceremony but jetting back to the US just hours afterwards, meaning he missed out on the concert.

While Prince Louis, five, also couldn't make Sunday's extravaganza, with a BBC commentator citing a 'busy weekend' and it being 'past his bedtime' as a reason for the little one's no-show.

Despite their divorce, Andrew and Sarah have remained close over the years – still living together at Royal Lodge, Windsor.

And ahead of Coronation Day, the latterexclusively told OK!she would be watching it on television alongside the late Queen's corgis, who live with her and Andrew.

She said: "I will definitely be watching it on television and will be championing it from there. I'll be watching with the Corgis [Muick and Sandy] who will be up there barking away."

She also previously told talk show Loose Women: "I personally will be having a little tearoom and coronation chicken sandwich and putting out the bunting, that's what I'm going to be doing. Because that would make me very happy.

"I I also love to watch it on telly because you hear a lot on telly, the commentators' are always good and then everyone, all the family come back."
