Scheana Shay Has THOUGHTS About Raquel Leviss' Move For 'Mental Health Counseling' Amid Scandoval…

Scheana Shay appears to be a little skeptical of Raquel Leviss‘ recent moves to slide out of the spotlight and away from the heat of Scandoval.

Of course, the Vanderpump Rules co-stars are locked in an ongoing legal battle after Raquel filed that infamous restraining order against Scheana back in early March. At the time, the 28-year-old Leviss claimed the 37-year-old Shay allegedly physically assaulted her after finding out about the former’s affair with Tom Sandoval behind his then-girlfriend Ariana Madix‘s back.

More recently, Leviss has revealed she is entering a “voluntary facility” for “mental health counseling” amid the affair fallout and endless news about the scandal. But now, Scheana’s team is pushing back on that a bit…

On Friday, the Scheananigans podcast host released a statement through her attorney Neama Rahmani. The attorney gave the statement to Us Weekly, and in it, he declared how Scheana is happy Raquel is seeking help… BUT!!! There was more!

The lawyer stated:

“We’re happy that she is getting the treatment she needs but none of this changes the fact that she abused the justice system to put forth false allegations against Scheana. And she has never to this day publicly come out and apologized for all her lies.”

And the attorney continued:

“We obviously recognize mental health is an important issue and wish Raquel all the best in her recovery, but we’d also like her to own up to her false allegations and publicly come out and acknowledge that she lied.”

Wow!

Of course, earlier this week, Leviss’ team revealed she would be seeking professional help amid the public backlash regarding her affair with the 40-year-old restaurateur:

“Raquel and her family decided before the relationship was discovered that she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling. Raquel had planned to admit herself before the VPR reunion was taped on March 23. She was scheduled to go in pre-reunion but decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment. Bravo and production were aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health.”

And yet!! Hours after we first reported that mental health move, new reporting came out that the star-crossed Bravo-lebrity was not at a mental health clinic, but more of a resort-style counseling-focused vacation getaway… possibly with Tom!

Insiders dropped the dime on that alleged luxury wellness resort as having yoga, massages, meditation, skiing, horseback riding, archery, cooking classes, and more. The Real Housewives even went there to film once! So it’s a little different than what people think of when they think about mental health counseling. And clearly, Scheana’s side wanted to push back a little bit on that here, at least as far as March’s restraining order is concerned.

What do U make of all this, Perezcious readers?!
