‘Secure’ William and Kate have ‘grown into new royals with confidence and ease’

Prince William and wife Kate Middleton have impressed body language expert Darren Stanton with the way they've slid perfectly into royal life.

Parents to sons George and Louis, and daughter Charlotte, the pair were most recently tangled up in Prince Harry's memoir revelations – he's now fully stepped away from The Firm and lives in California – yet their attendance for the Easter service at St George's Chapel last weekend seemingly suggested they're unfazed by such things.

"Prince William and Kate Middleton's body language was extremely relaxed and carefree, as they attended the Easter service at St George's Chapel," reported Darren on behalf of Betfair Casino.

"I noticed William's shoulders were down and his breathing was consistent with his relaxed demeanour, which tells me he was happy to be at the event."

The body language guru continued: "Kate wore a striking blue coat, which I often refer to as her superhero colour. She tends to wear blue when she wants to make a bold statement of appearing super confident. Although she seemed to be confident in herself, she didn't want to take centre stage as she was with her family.

"Meanwhile, William was seen wearing a blue suit, which is a change to his normal understated clothing. While blue is a colour of confidence, it is also a calming colour that resonates communication and connection.

“Following the service, Kate was the first person to emerge from the church. In recent years, Kate is often the person who leads at public events, as William is happy to stay behind and let his wife do her own thing.

"They no longer have to wait for each other, which is something they may have done in the early stages of their relationship. This shows that they are extremely secure within their relationship and positions as senior members of the Royal family. There's no signs of anxiety or nerves between the two. They have clearly already grown and developed into their roles of Prince and Princess of Wales with confidence and ease."

This comes after Darren's peer Judi James revealed to Express.co.uk that the couple's trip to the Hayes Muslim Centre in West London last month saw an "intense" bonding moment unfold between them as they shared their gratitude to those supporting survivors of the Turkish and Syrian earthquakes.

"This is such an intense and very telling sign from the couple who not only meet eyes but turn it into a sustained and meaningful gaze that is possibly more of a PDA than a hug or hand hold," she said of the photo below.

"It's the reaction that counts here. Kate's prompted smile suggests shared fun and affection while William's more suppressed smile hints at almost romantic levels of attraction. It might only look like a small moment but they look lost in that moment and it was a powerful one in terms of their bonding as a couple."
