Shane Richie and Coleen Nolan’s son Shane Jr marries Maddie Wahdan in stunning ceremony

Shane Richie and Coleen Nolan 's eldest son, Shane Jr. got married over the weekend with his famous parents in tow.

The 33 year old married his partner of six years, Maddie Wahdan, in a lavish ceremony at Rushton Hall in Kettering on Saturday.

Longtime Loose Women panellist Coleen, 57, looked fantastic in a stunning blue off-the-shoulder dress which she teamed with a matching hat and diamonte buckled shoes.

Her brunette hair was coiffed to perfection and she beamed alongside her newlywed son in a slew of snaps that she posted to Instagram.

Alongside the snaps, Coleen admitted that the day had made her emotional and she "cried a lot."

In the photo caption she wrote: "What can I say… a perfect day and night with family and friends celebrating my gorgeous son @iamshanenolan and now finally my beautiful daughter in Law @maddiewahdan s wedding day. I laughed and CRIED a lot.. a day I’ll never forget! Love you all".

Coleen first found fame in the 1970s as part of Irish girl group, the Nolan Sisters, alongside four of her siblings: Maureen, Denise, Linda and the late Bernie.

Shane Richie, 58, otherwise known as Shane Patrick Paul Roche, a British actor, comedian, television presenter, is perhaps best-known for his portrayal of Alfie Moon on longrunning BBC soap, Eastenders.

Coleen and Shane were married for nine years but went on to split in 1999. They share two children together: Shane Jr. and Jake Roche, 29, who's found fame in his own right, as the lead singer of band Rixton.

Following her divorce from Shane, Coleen went on to marry Ray Fensome, with whom she had daughter Ciara, now 21, but the pair divorced in 2018.

All of Coleen's children were present at her eldest child's wedding.

Shane is also father to three more children: Mackenzie Blue, 15, Lolita Bell, 13, and Romani-Skye Angel Shelley, ten with ex Christie Goddard, who he split from in 2007.

Coleen and Shane split after Coleen discovered that he had been unfaithful during their marriage.

In March she spoke on Loose Women and explained how she had become 'detective' to find out what he was up to.

She said on the panel: "When something's wrong I think we have a great intuition and sometimes we don't listen to our own gut instinct and our own intuition and I know I didn't. I kept making excuses, I kept thinking it was me.

"I was just turning into this person that I've never been before. I was checking receipts, checking phone bills, going to shops and going, 'What was actually bought with this receipt?'.

She continued: "I turned into this detective that I've never been and it was all true and I should have listened to my instincts at the beginning but your heart doesn't want to."
