Harry Styles surprised the crowd at Coachella on Friday night, April 15, as he brought country superstar Shania Twain onto the stage in the middle of his own performance.
The former One Direction singer, who was making his debut as a headliner at the multi-day music festival in California, performed “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” and “You’re Still the One” with Twain.
“In the car with my mother as a child, this lady taught me to sing,” Styles told the audience, joking, “She also taught me that men are trash.”
Styles had opened his 18-song headlining set with the debut performance of “As It Was,” the first single off his upcoming album Harry’s House. He also premiered a pair of songs that will probably feature on the LP – “Boyfriends” and “Late Night Talking.”
Coachella returned this past weekend after the festival was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 Coachella Music & Arts Festival is set to run over the course of two weekends on April 15-17 and April 23-25. The festival takes place at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
