Simon Cowell has been seen back on his electric bike for the first time since breaking his wrist, which is still in a protective brace.
The music mogul was seen with his fiancé Lauren Silverman, son Eric, eight, and stepson Adam, riding their bikes through sunny Montecito before stopping for lunch at the Honor Bar, and smoothies at Juice Ranch.
The 62 year old – who is reported to have taken a multi-million dollar talent scout position at Universal Music – was riding an $11,600 Spitzing M1 Electric bike after previously having a near-death experience.
Now, a source has told OK! Simon will continue to do what he wants and won't be giving up cycling, despite ending up in hospital in the past.
"Simon is feeling much better and healthier. He won't ever give up cycling – he absolutely loves it and won't be told otherwise," the source claimed.
"He's not a fan of the gym or running, but he loves the outdoors and cycling. Despite the accidents!"
They continued: "He wants to carry on exercising as he wants to live the healthiest and longest life he can for his son Eric."
The source went on to claim that Simon's partner has warned him to take care of himself: "Even though friends have aired their concerns about him not wearing a helmet, he won't be told.
"Even Lauren has tried to tell him. But Simon doesn't think wearing a helmet is 'cool' – and Simon does what Simon wants!"
OK! approached Simon's representative for comment.
It comes after a source told us Lauren wanted him to stay away from his bike as she was feeling fearful for her partner.

It was reported that Simon was “lucky to be alive” after he fell off his bike while not wearing a helmet, leaving him with a suspected concussion, facial cuts and a broken arm.
A source said at the time: "It’s very frightening for Lauren and she’s very worried about him. Simon isn’t young anymore – and he’s not invincible.
"He needs to look after himself and take things easy."
They added: "They enjoy going cycling together, but it seems like something always happens when he goes out on his own.
"Lauren is a real strength and rock for Simon, and when she’s not about, he gets himself into trouble!
"Lauren is telling him no more bikes – especially not on his own.”
