Strictly Come Dancing star Judi Love has tested positive for coronavirus and will be forced to miss the live show this weekend.
The Loose Women panellist, 41, who recently defended Strictly's Adam Peaty after fans think he 'almost kissed' Katya Jones, will not take part in the competition this weekend with her professional partner Graziano Di Prima.
"Judi Love has tested positive for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines," a Strictly spokesperson said.
"While Judi and Graziano will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, they will return the following week.”
When asked at the start of the new series of Strictly as to why she thinks Graziano is the right dance partner for her, Judi revealed: "I feel like I can speak to him about my worries. When I say, 'I’m feeling nervous about this,' or, 'I’m not sure about that,' he’s like, 'Don’t worry, we can move like this and think like this.'"
But Loose Women star Judi is not the first Strictly Come Dancing star to be forced to self-isolate after testing positive for coronavirus.
McFly singer Tom Fletcher and his professional dance partner Amy Dowden tested positive for Covid after the first week of the competition where they performed a Cha Cha to Earth, Wind and Fire’s September.
Meanwhile Robert Webb, who was partnered with Dianne Buswell, pulled out of the BBC show for the sake of his health, admitting he had "bitten off more than he could chew", two years after having open heart surgery.
It comes after Judi has spoken out on her late mum and dad as she competes in the popular BBC competition dance show.
The TV star lost her mum back in 2009 after a battle with dementia, while her father sadly passed away in April this year.
Judi described how she knows her parents would be "proud" of her on the show as she explained that they loved to do the Waltz and the Jive themselves.
When asked what she thinks they would say if they could see her today, Judi explained: "My sister texted me the other day asking how things were going, and I told her we were starting soon, and she said, 'Don’t forget, Mummy used to love dancing.'
"That really warmed my heart because all these memories of her dancing around the house during my childhood came back to me.
"She would be the proudest Jamaican mum ever! She’d be the only person allowed to come and see me. And she would love Graziano."
Judi added of her late father: "He’d be very happy. My parents were born in the 1930s, so their style of dancing was similar to the Waltz and the Jive.
