Helen Skelton has revealed her children still sleep in the same bed as her and she's taken to bribing her son to spend the night in his own room.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, who recently danced to the Blue Peter song on the show's BBC tribute segment, explained that her three children find it difficult to sleep on their own and inevitably end up in her bed.
The 39 year old shares her kids, Ernie, seven, Louis, five , and Elsie, 10 months, with Richie Myler, 32, who she split from earlier this year.
According to the Mirror, she said: "Mine are terrible sleepers, they like to sleep in my bed which isn’t good, but then other people will be like, ‘Well that isn’t good?’
“Rather than ‘Oh that’s nice because they’ll be 18 soon!’ But it’s survival."
She went on to share the expensive method she uses to get her son to spend the night in his own room as the star added: "I got my eldest to sleep in his own bed the other night and he was negotiating a deal and said he would for £20.
"I was like – ‘I can’t give you £20 a night!’ No wonder I’ve had to go back to work.”
Helen and Richie went their separate ways in April this year. At the time, the Countryfile star explained on Instagram: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home."
"We will be doing our best to co parent our small children." She added, ending the message with two broken heart emojis.
While Helen has been showing off her dance moves on Strictly Come Dancing since the news, her ex has been enjoying a new relationship with Stephanie Thirkill, who is said to be pregnant with their first child.
The professional rugby player recently spoke out on the "abusive" messages he's received as a result of all the changes in his life.
Taking to Instagram, which he has since made private, wrote: "I've decided to put my profile private from now on.
"If you are on here to share my photos or stories of me and my life maliciously to other people or waste your time sending me abusive messages please just unfollow me."
The Manchester Evening News reported that the dad-of-three then wrote: "I'm going to start removing people from my account one by one, so if you are a genuine rugby fan and I accidentally remove you I apologise in advance and will accept you back! Thank you Richie."
His now private account currently has 20,300 followers, while he is following just 403 accounts.
