Strictly Come Dancing star Rose Ayling-Ellis is tipped to become a huge TV success for the BBC.
After winning the hearts of millions of Strictly viewers, the EastEnders actress is a favourite to win the dance contest with her partner, Giovanni Pernice, especially after her couples choice dance which included a section performed in silence.
As a result, Rose is rumoured to be in discussions with BBC to be the lead new documentaries and entertainment shows, following in Stacey Dooley's
Renowned presenter Stacey won Strictly in 2018 and signed a deal with the BBC reportedly worth more than £200,000.
A source told the Mail Online: "Rose is a star and is exactly what the BBC need. The nation has fallen in love with her.
"Everything about her is so charming and lovely. She has won a fan base of millions of people in the matter of a few weeks.
"She resonates with the young and the old, which is exactly what the BBC needs right now – and there are a number of projects being discussed for her after the show."
Rose is the first deaf contestant to appear on Strictly since the series began and has raised awareness for the deaf community throughout the series.
The joyful actress has discussed the importance of having subtitled TV programmes, after platforms such as Instagram and TikTok have brought in automatic captions for all video content.
The 27 year old and her professional partner Giovanni, 31, left viewers in tears after performing part of their dance to Symphony by Clean Bandit featuring Zara Larsson in silence.
The couple dedicated the moving performance to the deaf community and to give viewers an insight into what it is like for Rose to dance each week on the Strictly ballroom.
The ‘special moment’ has already been tipped to win the Bafta TV Moment of the Year prize next year.
The judges were left in awe of Rose after the surprising moment in their routine. Motsi Mabuse said through tears: “This was so special, sometimes it’s more than just scores and dancing, it was just the moment and we just had that. Thank you so much for that.”
Head Judge, Shirley Ballas, stood to congratulate the couple on their powerful performance.
She added: "Well I feel first of all I should stand up out of respect for you sharing particularly the silent moment which totally I was not expecting it.
"It takes you into a much deeper place, I’m sure the deaf community will be absolutely so proud of you.
"And for sharing your heart and for being so honest and for being so true and for people to see such a beautiful lady like you can be so successful.
"This is a number that will be etched in my heart for a long, long time. It was absolutely beautiful.”
Rose and Giovanni also wowed judges in musicals week with their rendition of Love Is An Open Door from Frozen, scoring 37 points out of 40.
Cynthia Erivo, who stepped in for Craig Revel Horwood after he tested positive for Covid, awarded the couple ten points and described the routine as ‘gorgeous’ and ‘joyful’.
