Jeremy Clarkson has once again mocked F1 driver Lewis Hamilton over his outfit choices. The Grand Tour host took issue with the look Lewis recently donned while attending the Turkish Grand Prix.
Lewis was snapped in a Burberry kilt and trousers combination ahead of his latest GP.
He donned the bold blue look on Thursday this week as he prepared for the event.
It featured patterned blue and black trousers with a matching kilt and top.
Alongside these, Lewis donned a blue and black patterned jacket with a side bag and sunglasses.
The F1 champion completed his look with some black combat boots as he strolled around the racetrack.
However, Jeremy wasn’t a fan as he took aim at the star in his latest column for The Sun.
He wrote: “According to a report in yesterday’s Sun, the unusual outfit Lewis Hamilton wore as he arrived in Turkey, for this weekend’s Grand Prix ‘split opinion’.
“Hmmm. That would suggest there are some people out there who liked it.
“And I’m not sure there are.”
However, some fans spoke out about how much they liked the look on social media.
Fan Kayrie Trix wrote on Twitter: “Don’t miss the detail in the shoes. It matches the top.
“Go Sir Lewis, a masterclass in cultural fluency, this is what it means in practice. This is what respect for others mean in practice!”
“Looking good, champ,” penned user Sophwebsterxx.
Lewis did open up about his outfit as well, admitting “anyone can wear whatever they want.”
He said of his look: “It’s quite daring. I really like what Burberry is doing, and I just love the outfit.
“I go through all these different images online and find things that I like.
“I did a shoot with GQ a couple years ago with a kilt, and it was one that we specially made with Tommy Hilfiger, which was again just gender-neutral.
“Anyone can wear whatever they want.
“There will be people that don’t understand it, but that’s OK.
“Hopefully they’ll eventually go through the opening of their mind phase and let people be who they want to be.”
Lewis is known for his sense of style, recently making headlines with his bold look at the Met Gala.
He also took that opportunity to buy tickets for emerging black fashion designers to attend the prestigious event.
