The seven-time Super Bowl champ takes to his social media platform to share rare photos of his family, featuring his former wives and kids, after announcing he’s retiring ‘for good.’
AceShowbiz –Tom Brady is feeling grateful for exes Gisele Bundchen and Bridget Moynahan. The seven-time Super Bowl champion gives a special shout-out to his former wives on social media after he announced that he’s retiring “for good.”
On Wednesday morning, February 1, the 45-year-old now-former football player turned to his Instagram Story to share pictures of his ex-wives as he took a stroll down memory lane. One photo saw Brazilian supermodel Gisele walking in a football stadium with their daughter Vivian, 10, and son Benjamin, 13, as well as with his eldest child John “Jack” Edward, 15, whom he shares with Bridget.
Not stopping there, Tom also uploaded a rare snapshot of him posing alongside Bridget and their son Jack. Both Tom and Bridget wore gray button-down shirts as they stood on either side of Jack, with Tom opting for white pants while the “John Wick” actress wore black. Meanwhile, the teenage boy donned a white button-down with tan joggers, posing with an arm around each of his parents.
Tom Brady posted rare family photos with his exes Gisele Bundchen and Bridget Moynahan.
A few minutes earlier, Tom announced his retirement for the second time with an emotional post, including a video and a bunch of throwback photos, including one with Gisele and another with Bridget. In the footage, he noted that he was retiring “for good” this time, referring to his decision to unretire just 40 days after announcing his retirement back in 2022.
“I’m retiring. For good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record, and let you guys know first,” he declared. “I won’t be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year, so really thank you guys so much.”
Tom went on to extend his gratitude “to every single one of you, for supporting me, my family, my friends, teammates, my competitors.” He continued, “I could go on forever. There’s too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream… I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all.”
The post didn’t go unnoticed by Gisele. Taking to the comment section, the 42-year-old cover model replied, “Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life [folded hands emoji].”
Tom subsequently acknowledged the retirement announcement he made exactly one year ago, before he took back 40 days later. The famed athlete’s NFL return reportedly led to an “epic fight” between him and Gisele and the fight led to their divorce.
Details surrounding Tom and Gisele’s marriage separation seemingly will arrive soon. According to reports, the supermodel is set to break silence on the separation in an upcoming Vanity Fair cover story.
