Tom Cruise took part in a dramatic tribute dedicated to King Charles at his Coronation Concert tonight and was joined by other famous faces including Pierce Brosnan.
As the newly crowned king eagerly watched from the stands the A-list stars paid a touching tribute to the monarch.
In a pre-recorded segment, the tribute began with Pierce saying: “Did you know His Majesty was the longest serving Prince of Wales for over 64 years?”
He went on: “During that time the king has developed a host of action man skills.”
The segment showed Charles as a young man competing in various sporting activities from swimming in the sea, to flying planes, as the actor discussed the royal receiving his RAF pilot license.
The clip then cut away to the Top Gun star as he could be seen in his flying his fighter jet.
Tom Cruise commented: “Pilot to pilot. Your Majesty, you can be my wingman anytime.”
