Born in Syria, he relocated to Russia where he completed his masters degree in architecture. Driven by a childhood passion for fashion photography, he pursued his dreams with fervor. He started working with model portfolios and snaps before rapidly rising to the top of the Russian fashion photography scene within just five years. He has since worked with world top glossies such as Vogue, L’Officiel, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, GQ, Men’s Health and has photographed numerous A-list Russian celebrities.
A true globetrotter, Mohamad has traveled to every continent except Antarctica for photo shoots, working with international teams of professionals to produce stunning visual projects that are always ahead of the trend. His shootings are always on the cutting edge — whether he’s shooting Arabian fairy tales with elements of abstract art or collaborating with other artists to create a shoot with digital clothes, that precariously came from the VR and metaverses and appeared in the collections of all the world’s luxury brands.
He shares:

Recently based in the UAE, Mohamad has quickly made a name for himself as one of the most sought-after fashion photographers in the region, having carried out a photo shoots with lux brands like Dior, Chanel, Roberto Cavalli, Guirlain, Nina Richie, Cartier, and Piaget. His signature style is characterized by daring and striking images, expressive poses, and extreme angles. He is capturing the inner energy and appeal of the models with all his technical, visual and psychological precision.
During the past year, Amer has worked extensively with GCC teams and opened up new opportunities for Arab professionals. He reveals:
“While shooting here, I felt a strong connection with my Arab roots. I met wonderful people and top professionals here. I realized that I want to work more and do more for people like me from Syria and other Arab countries. They are professionals with a unique vision, and they deserve to be included in international projects. I want to be a part of this process and hope my example inspires others to showcase their talent and stand out.”
