Kirk Norcross has shown fans his new tattoo, which he got done in memory of his late dad Mick.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Kirk, 34, was left devastated after he found his dad Mick's body in January last year. Mick was just 57 when he took his own life.
More than a year on from his dad's tragic passing, Kirk has shared a photo of the inking he has had designed as a tribute to his late father, whom he shared an incredibly close bond with.
Kirk posted a photo of the large new tattoo on the side of his bicep, which is of an anchor which has a banner wrapped around it.
On the banner the word "Dad" can be seen along with the date of his passing: "21-1-21".
As he shared a photo of the new etching, which was done by The Skin Circus, Kirk revealed the artwork was to remember his beloved dad.
He wrote in the caption: "FOR YOU DAD!!! You are my anchor! You keep me still during the roughest storms in life!!
"Until we meet again Dad miss you" followed by a trio of red heart emojis.
Kirk opened up on the devastating impact of his dad's death as he appeared on Loose Women earlier this year.
The former reality star revealed he was diagnosed with PTSD after having flashbacks of the heartbreaking moment he found his dad's body in his Essex home.
He explained: “I got diagnosed with PTSD because I’ve had flashbacks of how I found my father. It’s like the war films… the flashbacks. I’ll be walking down the road and it’s like ‘Bang’ and it’s in my dreams. I ring my friends and say, ‘I need to talk to you’.
“I tried to commit suicide many years ago, I didn’t think I had a purpose then.

“Everyone watching this, you have survived 100% of the sad days, so why can’t you survive more of them?
“It’s been hard. I’m a recovering drug addict and I’m not ashamed to say. I did relapse when my father died, the day after, it was just to numb my pain, but I’m a couple of days away from nine months sober.”
He then urged viewers to speak up about how they're feeling.
Kirk told the Loose Women panel: “I can't stress to people – you've got to tell people how you feel. He was old school.
"I live next to my father. I was with him the night before and he was fine. He gave me his next business strategy. Then the next afternoon he killed himself."
