Tyga Shuts Down ‘False’ Domestic Violence Allegations Against Him

When offering his own clarification, the ‘Ayy Macarena’ hitmaker emphasizes that he is not forcefully taken by cops but he ‘took [himself] into the police station’ instead.

AceShowbizTyga has shared his side of the story. The “Ayy Macarena” rapper, who was recently accused of abusing his ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson following an altercation, took to social media to shut down the “false” allegations.

The 31-year-old, real name Micheal Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, set the record straight via Instagram Story on Friday, October 15. “I want everyone to know that the allegations against me are false,” he first penned.

“I was not arrested,” the ex of Kylie Jenner further explained. “I took myself into the police station and cooperated. I have not been charged with any crime.”

Just two days earlier, Tyga’s ex Camaryn offered her own clarification. “My intentions were never to go public with this,” she penned on Instagram Story on Wednesday, October 13. “Unfortunately ‘someone’ released a false narrative to TMZ painting me out to be somebody that I am not, accusing me of things that did not happen and that I did not do.”

“With that being said I took matters into my own hands and posted the TRUTH with proof tagging tmz AFTER they released the fake news,” she added. “Looking back now, I’m proud of myself for making a statement and standing up for myself. I’m glad to raise awareness to women who may be going through this and hopefully motivate others to stand up for themselves.”

In another post, the 22-year-old beauty thanked her Instagram followers for their “outstanding amount of support.” She then raved. “So many of you has helped me so much. I see you guys and I thank you guys.”

Camaryn and Tyga allegedly had an argument on October 11. According to TMZ, she showed up at the MC’s California home “screaming in the middle of the night” before things went physical.

One day following the altercation, Tyga voluntarily turned himself in to Los Angeles Police Department. He was released from jail just hours later after posting a $50,000 bond.
