Universal Studios Confirms Super Nintendo World Is Coming to Orlando

Exciting news for East Coasters and Florida residents!

Universal Studios has confirmed that the Super Nintendo World land will be coming to it’s Orlando resort.

Universal Parks & Resorts Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mark Woodbury confirmed the news Wednesday night (February 15) at the opening night of the land in Hollywood.

“Soon, we’re going to add another Super Nintendo World to Universal Orlando Resort,” he said, via Deadline. “The worst kept secret in history.”

The addition of the Nintendo land in Orlando will be a part of the upcoming Epic Universe park that is currently under construction.

First announced in 2019, Epic Universe is the “the single-largest investment Comcast NBCUniversal has made in its theme park business,” according to Comcast CEO Brian Roberts.

Then Universal Parks & Resorts head Tom Williams added that it will be the “most immersive and innovative them park we have ever created.”

There are already photos of the new Epic Universe construction, and sightings of the where the Super Nintendo World will be at.

The first Super Nintendo World opened in 2021 at Universal Studios Japan, which is getting a Donkey Kong expansion, opening in 2024.

It will also open in Universal Studios Singapore in 2025!
