Usher recently released a steamy slow jam, “GLU,” his first new single in nearly three years.
Usher co-produced the song with the Avila Brothers, Lil Jon and Sean Garrett.
“I just love that glue, ooh / That slides down you whenever we start touchin’ / It gets all on you, all on me from f-ckin’ / That’s when that glue done got you,” he sings on the track.
“GLU” is from Usher’s upcoming ninth studio album, due to arrive later this year via Larry Jackson‘s gamma.
“GLU” is Usher’s first single since his 2020 confessional “Bad Habits,” which reached No. 1 at R&B radio.
In 2020, he shared several collaborations with Marshmello, Tyga, Kiana Lede, and Ella Mai, and also teamed up with Lil Jon and Ludacris on “SexBeat.”
He also celebrated the 25th anniversary of his second album My Way by releasing a special edition that include six additional tracks.
